M F AHMAD

Daltonganj, Nov 3: Passengers travelling in AC coach by Up and Down Tatanagar-Jammu Tawi Express have not been provided bed sheets and blanket rolls by the train staff. When asked, they say that bed sheets, pillows and blankets have been taken off these two trains.

A passenger travelling via the Tatanagar-Jammu Tawi Express train on November 3 complained about not having any bed sheet, pillow or blanket.

He informed that there is no instruction to the passengers in their ticket or e-ticket about bed sheets, pillows and blankets not being provided to them.

He further informed that had this withdrawal of warm cover by the railways been made public in advance, passengers having reservations in AC coach could have managed it by themselves.

Sources added that children travelling with families in AC coach are the worst sufferer because of the lack of warm covers.
