Dark Web Order and LSD Seizure
According to police officials, information was received that narcotics had been ordered via the dark web and were to be delivered through a parcel near Ojha Market. Acting on the tip-off, a special team was formed. During surveillance, a youth wearing a red outfit arrived on a scooter, collected the parcel, and was intercepted shortly after.
The accused identified himself as Kumar Abhishek. Upon search, police recovered a white envelope bearing a Netherlands International postal stamp. Inside the envelope was a Belgian greeting card containing a multicoloured sheet with 100 LSD patches. During interrogation, Abhishek allegedly confessed that he and co-accused Avinash Kumar Mishra had ordered LSD (Lysergic Acid Diethylamide) from the Netherlands via cryptocurrency payment.
Police stated that the total weight of the seized LSD, including packaging, was measured at 12.80 grams, with the net LSD weight approximately 1.74 grams. The estimated market value of the consignment is around ₹8 lakh.
Brown Sugar Seizure in Separate Operation
