Ranchi, May 13: The Ranchi police in Argora area is getting one challenge after another.
Before the police could solve the mystery behind sharp-edged weapon injury on the bodies of Sudha Dutt and his son Arman Dutt, who died in mysterious circumstances in the intervening night of May 7 and 8 at Argora, a murder case surfaced before it yesterday evening after a youth shot dead a girl at Patel Chowk in the evening.
Officer-in-charge of Argora police station Vinod Kumar confirmed the situation saying he was intentional to get both the investigations completed without delay.
“In Sudha and Arman Dutt’s death case, autopsy reports are yet to come from Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) while the girl’s murder case suspect is yet to be arrested,” OC Kumar said.
The bodies of Sudha, a freelance journalist and wife of a Jharkhand High Court advocate Narayan Dutt, and her son Arman Dutt, a private engineering college student, were recovered in mysterious circumstances.
According to family members of Sudha, who was suffering from anemia died following oozing of blood from nose, her son died committing suicide by jumping from roof top of the double storey house after he noticed his mother dead. According to local residents, they heard the noise of mother and son before they knew about their death. Police noticed sharp edge injury marks on both the bodies.
On May 12, a Nawada girl Nivedita Kumari, pursuing her education in Ranchi, was shot dead near Patel Chowk in Harmu under Argora police station. Her friend sustained injury in the incident. Primary investigation suggested that Ankit committed the crime after Nivedita stopped talking to her. It is said that Ankit had affairs with the girl for many years and he was angry after she stopped talking. It is said that he opened three fires on the girl one after another and escaped, leaving her dead.
