Dhanbad Oct 30:  BJP state president Deepak Prakash has alleged that transfer-posting has become an industry for the state government and no officer is posted in any district without paying.

While addressing the Dhanbad district party workers convention at  Anil Talkies  Bhaga in Jharia on Saturday, the BJP state president charged that Jharkhand is passing through a critical condition as corruption, crime and illegal collection have reached on top landing the state in an anarchy like situation.

“ In 22 months, this Khichari government ( coalition government) has done 7500 postings and transfer of officials for illegal collection. It is not a record in the country albeit a Guinness World record. For continuing on the place an officer has to pay a recharge fee to those who posted him,” said the BJP state president.

Prakash said that Dhanbad is famous for coking coal. Officers are transferred here for illegal collection. The officers have to send collected money to Ranchi.  Those who transfer the officer in  district or police station gets 75%  share of illegal collection from coal. If any officer fails to pay  collection fee, he is transferred to other places, he alleged.

The BJP state president alleged that Hemant Soren ‘s appeasement policy for a particular community has murdered democracy in Jharkhand. The Assembly is considered a temple of democracy where people’s representatives raise public problem-related issues for solution. But he has allotted space for religious work.  He announced that the BJP too would hold ‘Bhajan and Kirtan’  there.

While declaring Hemant Soren-led government a failure on all fronts, Prakash said that in his  election manifesto Hemant Soren had promised to give jobs to 5 lakh unemployed. If failed to give jobs to youths,  he would pay an unemployment allowance. He had also declared that in case he failed in it he would resign and go to the public. Prakash said he has not given the job to a single person but is still holding the post, he added.

State vice-president  Jayprakash Bhai Patel ( Mandu MLA).  General secretary  Pradeep Verma, Dhanbad MP PN Singh Dhanbad sadar MLA Raj Sinha, Baghmara MLA Dhulu Mahto, district president Chandrashekhar Singh, vice-president Sanjay Jha, Manas Prasun, Hari Prakash Lata were also present at the conference.
