Ramgarh, Dec.8: A dog owner Ravi Ranjan Kumar along with his son has been booked by Ramgarh police after their pet bit Sarju Ram, a constable posted in the police line located near Ramgarh police station.

The police have arrested Ravi Ranjan Kumar and his software engineer son Abhishek Mehta, a resident of Mehta Building after the incident.

According to sources, Ravi was walking his pet dog when constable Sarju Ram posted at the police line gate forbade him to take his pet to toilet near the gate.

Sarju Ram alleged that after he refused Ravi permission to walk his dog, he and his son brought their other big pet dog from the house which attacked him.  He was badly injured after being bitten by the dog.

SP Prabhat Kumar has taken the matter very seriously and has directed Ramgarh police station in-charge to take all legal action against the accused.

Sources said that the wedding of Abhishek Mehta (son) is scheduled for December 10.
