Jamshedpur, Nov 21: In a major breakthrough in the Kamaldeo Giri murder case of West Singhbhum district’s Chakradharpur, police arrested two assailants on Monday.
Identified as Guljar Hussain (25) and Matiur Rahman (27), the arrested persons are among the six assailants involved in Giri’s murder.
According to police, both Hussain and Matiur have divulged during the interrogation that a local goon, Satish Pradhan to have conspired the murder.
Police said four others who are also involved in the murder have absconded, leading the West Singhbhum police to carry out raids in separate places in and outside the state.
Kamaldeo Giri (42) who was convener of a right-wing outfit, Girinath Sena, was killed on being attacked with country-made bombs near Bharat Bhawan in Chakradharpur on November 12 evening.
