Ranchi, Feb.1: Jharkhand unit of the BJP discussed the general budget, in which BJP Legislature Party leader Babulal Marandi and a team of chartered accountants, company secretaries and economic experts were present.

Marandi, said that this is the budget of self-reliant India.

“The focus is on startups and the domestic industry. This has huge potential for employment generation in the country. States will also get financial support in the budget. The faster the state works the more cooperation it will get from the Centre. He said that due to the elections to be held in 5 states, there was a possibility that it would be an election budget, but the budget was made for the upliftment of the country. This budget will prove to be a milestone,” Marandi said.

Advocate and economic expert Mahendra Chaudhary, who was involved in the discussion, said that this budget was for the upliftment of the entire country. “This is not a political budget. Capital investment has increased in the budget. The economic burden on the country increased due to the epidemic, but the additional burden of tax was not given to the public,” Chaudhary said.

Chartered accountant J.P Sharma said that the government expenditure increased due to Corona, but still the additional burden of tax has not been given. He said that a provision has been made in the budget to promote small scale industry. “The plan for digital currency is encouraging. The announcement of opening of a Mental Health Centre is also good, “Sharma added.

Advocate Rajeev Sharma said that the government has focused on digitization in this budget. “This is a visionary budget. Digitization will stop tax evasion in the country. All in all, it is balanced and a good budget,” he commented.

Company secretary Jaluka said: “This is the budget of Bharat Nirman. This is the budget to fulfill the dream of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Employment will be created. Employment will increase in the private sector. Removal of unnecessary union law will increase the ease of doing business.

Sain, a professor of Sarla Birla University said that the budget will give a boost to the MSME sector. “GDP will increase with the growth of MSMEs. Self-reliant India and Startup India have got extensions. The budget will limit the fiscal deficit. The state will develop. Overall this is a commendable budget,” he said

Chartered accountant Karishma Jain said that the budget has given proper focus on women empowerment. “Recognizing the importance of ‘Nari Shakti’, 3 schemes have been started in this budget. Schemes like Mission Shakti, Mission Vatsalya, Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 of the Ministry of Women and Child Development have been revamped extensively. There is a lot in this budget for women,” she said.
