Ranchi, July 7: The University Polytechnic, Birsa Institute of Technology, Mesra has invited applications for admission in Diploma in Engineering, BSc in Medical Lab Technology and Diploma in Engineering (lateral entry) till July 20. Interested candidates may visit univpoly.bitmesra.ac.in to fill up forms.
Diploma in Engineering here has 270 seats, wherein students can choose topics including automobile, computer, mechanical, electronics and communication, and electrical and electronics. Of the 270 seats, 86 seats are unreserved, 22 are for OBC, 108 for ST, 41 for SC and 13 for primitive tribes. Students successful in Matriculation or equivalent examination in 2020, 2021 and 2022 can apply. It is mandatory to have a minimum score of 45 percent for ST / SC, 35 percent for primitive tribes, 45 percent for PH and 60 percent for OBC / general category.
On the other hand, BSc Medical Lab Technology has a total of 29 wherein 11 for ST, 8 for SC, 1 for primitive tribes, 4 for OBC and 5 for general category students. Students who have passed the 12th or equivalent examination in the years 2020, 2021, and 2022 can take enrollment in the course. It is mandatory to have a minimum score of 40 percent for ST / SC, 35 percent for primitive tribes and 50 percent for the OBC / general category.
Meanwhile, Diploma in Engineering (lateral entry) offers Automobile Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering Production and has 27 seats.
The application form can be submitted online along with an Application fee of Rs 350 (for PT, ST, SC & OBC candidates) / Rs 600 (for UR candidates) & essential documents (Marks sheet, Residential certificate, Caste certificate).
