Mirzapur, Oct 27: A road accident in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, on Friday resulted in the tragic loss of five lives, which included two children and a woman, with 26 individuals sustaining injuries, an official stated.
The accident occurred this morning when a bus travelling from Mirzapur to Matawar with 35 people on board went out of control and overturned.
The incident occurred on Halia Dadri Road within the jurisdiction of the Santnagar police station.
District Magistrate Mirzapur Priyanka Niranjan stated that ten individuals had critical injuries and sixteen passengers sustained minor injuries.
She stated that the injured had been sent to the district hospital for medical attention.
