Lucknow, Jan 29: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will participate in day-long public events as well as door-to-door campaigns in Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar and Saharanpur today as part of his back-to-back travels to poll-bound regions.
Shah has held two public events in Uttar Pradesh in the previous three days, beginning on Thursday in Mathura and Greater Noida.
From 12.30 pm onwards, the Home Minister will hold effective voter communication in Muzaffarnagar’s Sadar seat, followed by a door-to-door campaign throughout the district. Shah’s third event, a door-to-door campaign in Deoband, Saharanpur will begin at 2.10 p.m.
The Home Minister will perform effective voter communication in Kota village, Saharanpur Dehat, at around 3 p.m.
At 5.30 p.m., Shah’s day-long event would come to a close with a door-to-door campaign in the Saharanpur constituency’s New Shardanagar neighbourhood.
The Home Minister’s public appearances are essential since Uttar Pradesh’s Assembly elections will be held in seven stages beginning on February 10. On March 10, votes will be counted for 403 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh, 117 in Punjab, 70 in Uttarakhand, 60 in Manipur, and 40 in Goa.
