Shravasti, Aug 6: A painful road accident has happened in Shravasti, Uttar Pradesh. Here, a Bolero car fell into a ditch after hitting a tree on the Buddhist circuit located in Ikouna. In this accident, six people of the same family were killed, while the driver Ajay Mishra (25) suffered serious injuries. He has been admitted to Bahraich Medical College.
Those who died include Neelansh (36), his sister Niti (20), Deepika (35), two girls aged three and a half years. Apart from this, Vaibhav (36) died during treatment at Bahraich Medical College.
According to the police, some people from the Tribhuvan Chowk area of Nepalganj city of Nepal had gone to their relative’s house in Khalilabad of Sant Kabir Nagar district by car on Saturday. On Saturday evening, all were going back to Nepalganj via Balrampur and Shravasti. Meanwhile, cattle suddenly came in front of the vehicle near Sitadwar located in the Ikauna police station area of the Shravasti district. In order to avoid the cattle from being hit, the car went out of control and fell into a ditch after hitting a tree. The police got everyone out of the vehicle by cutting the door and took them to the local CHC where doctors declared five people dead. On the other hand, Vaibhav was referred to Medical College Bahraich in critical condition, where the doctors also declared him dead. At the same time, the driver Ajay is undergoing treatment.
