Vande Bharat Express emerges as most preferred transportation mode for women passengers

Jamshedpur, Oct 26: Indian Railways’ Vande Bharat Express has emerged as the preferred mode of transportation among all age groups of passengers, especially females.

Senior railway officials told this portal that since its debut, the train has consistently recorded exceptional occupancy rates at the originating station and along the route as well.

On account of its top-level safety, security, speed and hospitality, the Vande Bharat Express trains are the most liked trains by the people of India specifically by women, children and senior citizens. The nation’s youth and working class, who desire convenience, punctual service and time savings, are the fans of Vande Bharat Express to suit their much sought-after needs.

In order to meet people’s aspirations, South Eastern Railway is currently running four Vande Bharat Express trains between Howrah-Puri, Howrah-Ranchi, Ranchi-Patna and Rourkela-Puri altogether.

Data on SER (South Eastern Railway) Vande Bharat trains depict that, on average, around 35% of all passengers are women whereas children register around 6%.

They prefer Vande Bharat to other modes of transportation for their quick, comfortable and safe journey.

Passengers of Vande Bharat Express can enjoy delicious meals served onboard.

Commuters of Vande Bharat, particularly housewives, need not bother about having meals prepared at home, as breakfast, lunch and dinner are served on the train as per the timings of the day.

The statistics also show that about 13% of all travellers are senior citizens who enjoy their journey with a high level of safety, security and hospitality services and passenger-friendly features of the train.

The Vande Bharat trains come with modern design, top-notch amenities and efficient hospitality.

The train has superior passenger amenities such as Onboard Wi-Fi infotainment, GPS-based passenger information system, plush interiors, bio-vacuum toilets with touch-free amenities, special lavatory for Divyangjan passengers, diffused LED lighting, charging points beneath every seat, individual touch-based reading lights and concealed roller blinds.

Modern Mini Pantry and Emergency Talk-Back unit are available for passengers to communicate with the crew.

Better heat ventilation and air-conditioning system with UV lamp for germ-free supply of air is there. The intelligent air-conditioning system adjusts the cooling according to the climate conditions/occupancy.

In modern India, the Vande Bharat with hallmarks of speed, safety, service is currently the most sought-after train with superior world-class features.

This train has enhanced connectivity across the states and various neighbouring cities.

The train has proven to be a blessing for rail commuters who frequently use Vande Bharat services because it is convenient and ensures punctuality for travellers.
