Ranchi: The hearing on the discharge petition filed by Yogendra Tiwari, accused of illegal earnings through the liquor scam and money laundering, has been rescheduled to January 30. The matter was heard on Tuesday in the special court for the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) in Ranchi.
Yogendra Tiwari had filed the discharge petition on December 19, claiming innocence in the case. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) had arrested him on October 19, 2023. Currently, he is out on bail granted by the High Court.
