Ranchi, Jan.31: The BJP today alleged the JMM-led UPA government in Jharkhand of being ‘dishonest’ with the people of the state.
BJP legislature party chief and former chief minister Babulal Marandi levelled the allegation pointing out crookedness in selection of time for raising the issue of 1932 land survey record based identity for locals.
“Why did Hemant Soren not formulate local policy and recruitment policy when he became chief minister for the first time in 2013 and ruled for 18 months? Why did he forget the Ninth Schedule when Manmohan Singh was prime minister and there was UPA rule in Jharkhand and the centre both,” Marandi questioned.
Questioning the selection of time for raising the issue of land record based local policy; the BJP leader suggested him to be honest in politics to give a recruitment and local policy. Marandi opined that the politics cannot be run by manipulation but by honesty.
Marandi while levelling the allegation suggested Soren to not hesitate from taking the opinion of legal experts for giving a constitutionally valid recruitment and local policy.
Opinion of the BJP came a day after the chief minister during a public meeting challenged the governor’s interference in the formulation of local policy. The CM challenged the governor’s interference a day after the governor returned the bill identifying locals on the basis of 1932 land survey record in Jharkhand.
