Dhanbad, May 20: Five-day workshop on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) concluded at BIT Sindri which provided the participants valuable knowledge in solving real-world problem.
The coordinator of the workshop cum assistant professor, ( Dr ) Ashok Kumar Barnbal, said the 5-day workshop was a great opportunity for students and faculty members to learn and improvise their conventional methods.” It was highly interactive and well-received by the participants and organizers,” he said,
The workshop was organized by the Chemical Engineering Department of BIT Sindri in collaboration with SankhyaSutra Labs.
On the last day of workshop in technical session conducted under the guidance of. Athreya Ballapur, the expert of Aerodynamics and Aeroacoustics (aviation wing energy), Sankhya Sutra Labs Bangaluru in which the stages of simulation and setting of flow parameters were explained to the participants in detail.
The coordinator Dr Barnbal said the session was highly interactive and students actively sought knowledge regarding further aspects of the concerned software. During the feedback session, students expressed their appreciation and gratitude to the esteemed speakers, Nishant Soni and Dr. Ballapur.
During the valedictory ceremony, speakers highly appreciated this innovative collaboration of Industry and Academia. On the occasion Dr. D. K. Singh, director BIT Sindri, DSA Dr. Pankaj Rai, chairman of career Development Centre (CDC), Dr. Ghanshyam, convener of the workshop Dr. Ashok Kumar Barnwal, Dr. Nirupama. Dr. Ch. V. Raghunath were also present.
