Lucknow, June 7: An FIR was filed at the Madiyaon police station in Lucknow on Tuesday morning, hours after a bomb threat was made to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) offices in Lucknow and Unnao.
“An FIR was registered at Madiyaon PS in connection with a bomb threat to the RSS office in Lucknow and Unnao. A WhatsApp message threatening that RSS offices will be blown up was sent at 8 pm yesterday. With Cyber Cell’s help, the number that sent the message will be traced,” Issuing a statement on the matter, Lucknow Police said.

The number is being traced with the help of the Cyber Cell, according to the police squad. Sangh member Neelkanth Tiwari received messages in Hindi, English, and Kannada from international numbers.
The threats were made just days after RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat spoke at the third year Sangh Shiksha Varg (officers’ training camp) in Nagpur, calling for communal unity. The RSS chairman stated that neither community should stoop to extremism, but asserted that the Hindu side has been less ‘intimidating.’
