New Delhi, Aug 9: Google services owned by Alphabet Inc. appeared to be operational again on Tuesday morning, according to the outage monitoring service Downdetector.com.
According to Downdetector, a service that compiles status updates from several sources, reports of the outage in the United States have decreased to less than 500 instances.
As of 0130 GMT, over 30,000 user reports had indicated problems with Google in just the United States at the height of the outage.
According to the tracking website, about 5,900 people in Japan reported issues, and problems were also experienced in Canada and Australia.
A request for comment from Reuters was not immediately answered by Google.
