Patna, August 9: JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar told the media after meeting the Governor, “We have support of seven parties and one Independent. The letter of support signed by all of them was given to Governor Phagu Chauhan. The Governor to decide when can we form the government. Everyone in the party was of the opinion to leave NDA.”
Earlier, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar resigned as the chief minister, ending his alliance with BJP in the state. He held a meeting with all Janata Dal (United) MLAs about the break-up with the BJP.
