South Eastern Railway appoints new Chief Public Relations Officer

Jamshedpur, Sept 19: Aditya Kumar Chaudhary on Monday took over as the new Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of South Eastern Railway. Prior to this, Chaudhary was the senior divisional operations manager in South Eastern Railway’s Ranchi division.

An Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) officer of the 2011 batch, Chaudhary completed his B.Tech from IIT Roorkee in Civil Engineering. He has vast experience in train operations and commercial aspects of railways.

During his service career in railway, Chaudhary has worked in various important capacities viz. Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Kharagpur, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Adra, Divisional Operations Manager, Adra etc.

He has a keen interest in sports and socio-cultural activities. A circular was issued by Garden Reach, the Kolkata- based headquarters of South Eastern Railway regarding the new appointment of the CPRO this evening.

The post of a full-time CPRO was lying vacant for quite some time.
