Bihar violence: Schools to remain closed till April 4 in Rohtas

Rohtas, April 2: All government and private schools are to remain closed till April 4 in Rohtas district in the wake of violence that erupted in district’s Sasaram town. Along with that, all coaching institutes will also remain shut.

Bihar was still tense on Sunday a day after Ram Navami-related violence was recorded in the districts of Rohtas and Nalanda. The police had to make several arrests as a result of the violence that started on Thursday and persisted until Saturday night in order to preserve law and order in Biharsharif.

Many individuals were hurt during the racial outbursts that were recorded in both towns, and vehicles, homes, and businesses were set on fire. After new violence that broke out in these two Bihar cities, 112 individuals in all have been detained in Bihar Sharif and Nalanda.
