Tarn Taran, August 7: The Border Security Force (BSF) and Punjab police conducted a joint operation on Monday morning and recovered a Pakistani drone from the outskirts of Rajoke Village in the Tarn Taran district of Punjab.
The buzzing sound of a suspected flying object (drone) entering Indian Territory from Pakistan was heard by BSF forces stationed at the border, according to a senior officer of the BSF Punjab Frontier, in the area near Rajoke village in the Tarn Taran district.
The forces attempted to intercept the drone in accordance with the established drill.
A joint search operation with Punjab Police was conducted, the officer added. Soldiers discovered a drone in Rajoke village’s agricultural field while conducting a search of the region.
“As per the initial investigation, the recovered drone is a Quadcopter, model – DJI Matric RTK- 300. It has been sent to a lab for further investigation into the matter,” the officials said.
