BIT Sindri: Strive for excellence with dedication, says CDC chairman

Dhanbad, Sept 15: BIT Sindri Career Development Centre (CDC) chairman-cum-Training and Placement in-charge Prof (Dr) Ghanshyam called upon the students to strive for excellence with dedication, discipline, hard work and commitment.

While giving a motivational guest lecture to the 2023 batch students of the institution on the fourth day of the induction programme, Prof Ghanshyam encouraged them to develop active listening skills, cultivate etiquette and become proficient communicators.

Prof Ghanshyam underlined the role being played by the Career and Development Centre in bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements.

“Strive for excellence in life and work hard with dedication, discipline and commitment until you reach your goals,” said Prof Ghanshyam.  He further added that each student at BIT should take immense pride in his/her institution, recognizing it as a catalyst for their journey towards success.

During his lecture, the CDC chairman also shared the success stories and experiences achieved by the 2018-22 batch.

BIT Sindri Director  Prof. Pankaj Rai and senior faculty member  Dr. R.K. Verma also offered a motivating message to inspire the students and presented a token of appreciation to  Prof. Ghanshyam acknowledging his contribution to the orientation program’s success.

Earlier, Dr. Sumanto Mandal, a member of the induction committee formally introduced Dr. Ghanshyam to students, shedding light on his remarkable achievements and accomplishments.

The session concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Dr Swati Tomar.
