The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the results of the UGC-NET December 2025 examination. Candidates can now check their scorecards on the NTA’s official website: https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

Over 5,000 Selected for JRF, Thousands for Assistant Professor & PhD

As per the NTA’s data, 5,108 candidates have qualified for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor roles. Additionally, 54,713 candidates are eligible for Assistant Professor positions and PhD admission, while 1,17,058 candidates qualified solely for PhD programmes.

Massive Turnout and Fair Conduct Across 85 Subjects

The computer-based test (CBT) was conducted across 663 centres in 283 cities nationwide over six days and 11 shifts, covering 85 subjects. Out of the 9,93,702 registered candidates, 7,35,614 appeared for the exam. The gender breakdown included 58.91% female, 41.08% male, and 0.01% third gender candidates.

Transparent Evaluation Process Ensured

To uphold transparency, NTA published the question papers, provisional answer keys, and candidates’ recorded responses on its portal. Expert panels reviewed objections submitted by candidates before finalising results.

Strict Monitoring Measures Deployed for Integrity

For fairness and discipline, NTA established control rooms, deployed virtual observers, installed CCTV surveillance, and used mobile network jammers at all centres.
