Deoghar: BJP MP from Godda, Nishikant Dubey, arrived in Deoghar on Monday to attend an AIIMS programme and launched a sharp attack on the opposition over the SIR issue and Rajya Sabha elections, accusing them of attempting to enroll Bangladeshis as Indian voters to form a government.
Opposition Plotting to Register Bangladeshis as Voters
Speaking to the media at Deoghar Airport, Dubey alleged that opposition parties are unitedly working to make Bangladeshi infiltrators Indian voters and use that to seize power in the country. He asserted that the BJP will not allow their plans to succeed.
Mamata’s Politics Rejected by Public
Dubey also took aim at West Bengal’s former Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, saying she had been playing the same political game, and the results are there for all to see. He said the BJP’s impressive victory in the assembly elections makes it clear that the public stands firmly with the BJP.
Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Traitor’ Remark Dismissed
When asked about Congress leader Rahul Gandhi calling PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah traitors at a rally in Raebareli, Dubey said nobody takes Rahul Gandhi seriously anymore. He went on to request Sonia Gandhi to get Rahul Gandhi medically treated, questioning his mental state.
BJP Confident of Winning Both Rajya Sabha Seats
On the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections for two seats in Jharkhand, Dubey avoided making direct statements but hinted that the BJP will win both seats. He said legislators and those in the state government have understood that the country’s future is safe in the BJP’s hands.
