Siddaramaiah Continues Until New Arrangements Are Made
Siddaramaiah had stepped down as Karnataka Chief Minister on May 28. He had earlier travelled to Delhi to meet Rahul Gandhi and Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, and has declined a Rajya Sabha nomination, preferring to remain active in Karnataka politics.
