Jharkhand High Court directs JPSC to recruit staff for FSL within 3 months

Ranchi, Sept.30: Jharkhand High Court, while monitoring the CBI probe into the death of Dhanbad judge Uttam Anand by auto-rickshaw push, directed recruitment agency of the state, Jharkhand Public Service Commission and Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission, to complete the recruitment process for selection of staff for state Forensic Science Laboratory within three months.

Giving direction the court threatened the agency of strong order in case of non-compliance of its order. He also observed that the recruitment agency should not keep sleeping like Kumbhkaran.

Earlier, the state government filed an affidavit saying that funds will be released for upgradation of the FSL. On which the court took strong exception and directed the department to come with a concrete plan by the next date of hearing.

Earlier, the CBI informing about progress in the investigation said some important clues have been found during the probe into the death case of the judge and the probe team is working on it.
