Ranchi, Jan 27: New Covid infections, continued to decrease with 1,009 new cases being reported during the last 24 hours in the state on Wednesday taking the total number of active cases to 13,908 with 2,921 recoveries and five deaths.
While two casualties were reported from East Singhbhum and one case each from Dhanbad, Saraikela and Bokaro.
The total number of Covid-19 cases in the state since the outbreak of the pandemic has reached 4,24,337 out of which 4,05,143 have recovered and 5,286 have scummed to the virus.
Ranchi with 289 new cases remained at the top followed by Godda with 180 new cases.
