New Delhi, March 2: Consultative Committee of Parliament on External Affairs to meet on Thursday. According to the sources, External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar is likely to brief the Committee members in the meeting tomorrow.
This announcement comes day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi presided over a high-level conference to discuss attempts to repatriate Indians who have been stuck in Ukraine. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal, Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla, National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval, and other top officials attended the meeting.
Meanwhile, India dispatched the first tranche of humanitarian aid to Ukraine via Poland on Tuesday, according to Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla. Medicines, medical equipment, and other relief supplies were included in the shipment.
