New Delhi, Aug 17: Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, announced the “Make India No. 1” initiative on Wednesday and emphasised the necessity for the country to invest in constructing schools across the board. He requested the assistance of the BJP, the Congress, and other political parties for his plan.
He declared that the mission’s primary focuses will be on agriculture, healthcare, and education. Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, also urged the BJP, the Congress, and other political parties to work together to elevate India to the top spot.
“A total of 130 crore Indians have to be connected through this mission. It has been 75 years of Independence. We have achieved a lot, but people are angry. There is a perception that in all these years, many smaller countries have gone ahead of us after becoming independent,” he said.
“We have to arrange good and free education for 27 crore children. We cannot say that schools cannot be opened in mountains or tribal areas. No matter how much you need to spend, you will have to do it. A single child can make a family go from poor to rich. Then the name of India will be included in the list of rich countries,” he added.
