Ranchi, June 6: The Jharkhand High Court today made a strong exception to the JPSC’s step of starting the process of interview for the selection of assistant engineers despite the matter being subjudice before the court and verbally observed that it seems that the recruitment body is deliberately jeopardising the future of students.

The situation came when a petition filed challenging the reservation in the preliminary test in the appointment of Assistant Engineers was being heard in the court of Justice Rajesh Shanker.

The court taking strong exception threatened dire consequences of the act being done by the JPSC. The judge told the JPSC in strong words that all the information related to the appointment will have to be submitted before the court, otherwise the court will summon the chairman.

Advocate Amritansh Vats appeared before the court on behalf of the petitioner Bhaskar Kumar and others. I

In the last hearing, it was submitted before the court that 21 thousand candidates appeared for the examination for the appointment of Assistant Engineers, but the result was issued for only 4700 students.

The court had sought a reply from the JPSC on the argument of the advocate of the applicant. The court has fixed the date for a hearing after three weeks in the case. The court has also directed the state government and the JPSC to file a reply.
