Ranchi, Nov 2: BJP state president and Rajya Sabha member Deepak Prakash has launched a twitter attack on Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren after the enforcement directorate issued a summon in the case of laundering of money earned by illegal mining.
“Jharkhand has become a symbol of corruption during the 32-month rule of the Hemant government. The Chief Minister has a direct role in protecting corruption, he himself took the work of taking allocation of mineral mines in his name and all this he did not only in his name but also of his close ones,” he tweeted.

“Of all the raids that have happened so far, there is not a single case in Jharkhand where they have not found anything. The ED is not returning empty-handed from anywhere, but has recovered crores of crores from the homes of the Chief Minister’s close friends, which shows that the whole pulse is black,” he added.

Yet another tweet reads, “The law is doing its job and the hands of the law are long, no one can escape it, the public believes. ED is an independent organisation and whoever commits an economic offence or engage in looting the state are plundering its mineral wealth, commits corruption, the ED will take action.”
“Contrary to rules and regulation, the Chief Minister worked to benefit everyone including his press advisor, wife, sister-in-law, and MLA representative. In the area of Santhal Pargana, nature has given a lot to Jharkhand and got the work done by its mountain of our minerals of the same nature” one more tweet reads.
However, Prakash could not be available for his comment as he was busy in a party meeting.
Notably, the ED has asked Chief Minister Hemant Soren to turn up for questioning to clarify whether he was involved in the illegal mining and received slush money. However, it is most likely that the Chief Minister will approach the court to seek a stay on the notice.
