Dilip Ghosh Slams Mamata’s 15-Year Rule
BJP leader Dilip Ghosh, who won from Kharagpur, launched a pointed attack on Mamata Banerjee, saying that the people of Bengal gave her 15 years to govern but she failed to deliver on expectations. He added that he fulfilled every responsibility given to him by the party with full dedication and that the people’s blessing has now been reflected in the results. He noted that the landslide victory has also raised public expectations significantly.
Suvendu Adhikari Vows to Work for Hindus of Nandigram
BJP’s Suvendu Adhikari, who won from Nandigram by approximately 10,000 votes, said that Hindu voters of Nandigram backed him while Muslim votes went to TMC. He pledged to work for the Hindu community in the region and declared that TMC’s era is coming to an end.
Amit Shah Calls It a Message Against Fear and Appeasement
Union Home Minister Amit Shah congratulated the people of West Bengal and described the results as a clear public message against politics of fear, infiltration, and appeasement. He said political parties that rely on such tactics will draw lessons from this outcome.
Odisha Minister Credits Modi and Shah for the Victory
Odisha Minister Suryabanshi Suraj also reacted to the win, recalling former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s vision of a BJP government from Gangotri to Gangasagar. He credited the victory to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, party leadership, and grassroots workers.
