Ranchi: On the first day of the Monsoon Session of the Jharkhand Assembly, several BJP MLAs, including Naveen Jaiswal and Babulal Marandi, were seen wearing masks during proceedings, drawing light-hearted jibes from members of the ruling party.

Minister Sudivya Kumar Sonu, smiling, remarked jokingly to Naveen Jaiswal that his mask appeared to have slipped, prompting a few RJD members to also chime in with their own light comments on the matter.

CM Hemant Soren Adds His Own Playful Remark

Chief Minister Hemant Soren also joined in with a witty jibe, remarking that despite being in government for 19 years, the opposition’s voice was still coming through loud and clear. However, the Chief Minister’s full remark could not be heard clearly in the House.

Light Banter Between Treasury and Opposition Benches

The exchange led to a brief moment of light banter and laughter between members of the ruling party and the opposition, after which proceedings in the House resumed as usual.
