Brave businessman catches hold of armed criminal at Palu in Ranchi

Ranchi, Oct.5: The dealer of stone chips and boulder nabbed a criminal with firearms at Palu, about 30km from Jharkhand capital town under Ormanjhi police station area.

It was getting around 5 am when the criminal was caught as he accompanied by his two aides reached the production site on a motorbike and asked the dealer, Neeraj Sahu, for ‘rangdari’  and Sahu after some exchange of words caught him with the help of others present there.

“The two escaped leaving their bike after they anticipated trouble while one was caught and handed over to us,” said officer-in-charge of Ormanjhi police station, Rajeev Kumar Singh, confirming the heroic action of the businessman.

Asked about the other two, the OC said: “Two others have also been identified and they will also be caught soon.”
