New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the Class 10 and 12 board exam results for 2025, bringing relief and excitement to lakhs of students across India and abroad. With a blend of consistent performance, regional highlights, and a strong showing by girls, the results reflect another successful academic cycle.

Class 10 Results: High Pass Rate, Trivandrum Tops

Out of 23.71 lakh Class 10 examinees, 93.66% cleared the exam — a marginal 0.06% increase from last year. Trivandrum region emerged as the best performer with an exceptional pass rate of 99.79%. Notably, over 1.99 lakh students scored above 90%, while 45,000+ crossed the 95% mark, underlining academic excellence.

Class 12 Results: Girls Shine, Vijayawada Leads

In Class 12, girls secured a 95% pass rate, outperforming boys who recorded 92.63%. The Vijayawada region stood out with a 99.60% pass percentage. Exams were held from February 15 to March 18 at both national and international centers.

CBSE Maintains Stress-Free Measures

Keeping with its policy to reduce pressure, CBSE once again refrained from releasing a merit list or naming toppers. This aligns with its vision of promoting holistic education. Over 1.41 lakh students in Class 10 and 1.29 lakh in Class 12 were placed in the compartment category and can appear for supplementary exams.

Where and How to Access Results

Results can be viewed on multiple platforms:

  • cbseresults.nic.in

  • cbse.gov.in

  • results.cbse.nic.in

  • DigiLocker & UMANG app

Students can also apply for verification of marks, revaluation, and compartment exams. Detailed instructions are available on the CBSE website.
