Chakradharpur, May 21: A woman died after being hit by a train on Sunday near Mahadevshal Dham railway station in Goilkera. At present, the woman has not been identified. Pooja material, Lota and some flowers have been found scattered near the deceased.
It is feared that the woman was going towards the temple to worship through the railway tracks and she must have come under the grip of a train.
The dead body of a woman was lying near pole number 348/3-5 between Goilkera Mahadevshal. During patrolling, the railway personnel saw the dead body, after which it was informed at the station. Here the police is engaged in identifying the woman.
