Child Health Care Centre organizes camp in Ramgarh’s Gegda village

Ramgarh, May 17: Under the aegis of Mother and Child Health Care Centre, Ramgarh, Dr Santwana Sharan organized the 57th camp under the Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Yojana on Tuesday in remote Gegda village of Patratu block. The camp was formally inaugurated by Kumel Oraon, Dr Santwana Sharan and Dr Sudhir Kumar Arya, patron of the ST Committee by jointly lighting the lamp.

At the launch of the camp, Dr Sharan said to the villagers that under the Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Yojana, from the year 2016, pregnant mothers are being examined by organizing camps continuously.  He also distributed medicines after checking the health of nine pregnant mothers.  Along with this, other necessary information was given including exercise, breastfeeding and taking nutritious food during pregnancy. Information about protection against women’s harassment was also given to women.
