Class XII student of Sarla Birla School drowns in Jonha falls

Ranchi, June 2: A class XII student of Sarla Birla School, Aditya Upadhyay, drowned in Johna Falls under Angara police station area.

 

Sources close to the deceased informed this.

 

SP(rural) Naushad Alam confirmed the incident saying he was associated with a policeman’s family. His body has been fished out, he added.

 

Asked how the accident took place, S.P(rural) Alam said it happened while taking bath around 4pm.

 

“The boy had gone to the falls with his other four friends. While returning from there, he went to take a bath and somehow slipped into the water. The matter is being probed,” Alam said.
