Ranchi, Nov.16: The ‘Apke Adhikar- Apki Sarkar’ programme started today in Ranchi from Kulhi village of Kuchu Panchayat under Ormanjhi block.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Chhabi Ranjan started the programme, which will be organised till December 28 in different panchayats of different blocks of the district to let the villagers know about different government schemes and to help them know the procedure of getting benefits of those schemes.
Apart from asking villagers to turn to concerned government officials with an application to take advantage of the benefit to enhance their living standards, DC Ranjan also encouraged government officials to take proper action on the villagers’ applications to ensure that they are not harassed.
He informed the villagers about e-sharm card and covid vaccination besides other schemes.
He also laid the foundation stone for MNREGA Park where horticulture and vegetable farming will be done in a 11.5 acre area and started Didi Bari Yojna of vegetable farming.
Major attractions during the inauguration programme were stalls set by agriculture and animal husbandry department, Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society, food and civil supply department and child development project besides others informing villagers regarding different government schemes for development of village and villagers.
Those accompanied DC Ranjan during the inauguration programme included deputy development commissioner (DDC) Vishal Sagar, district agriculture officer (DAO) Vikas Kumar, and block development officer (BDO) Vijay Kumar Soni besides others.
