Ramgarh, Dec. 25: Hazaribagh MP Jayant Sinha has tested positive for the novel coronavirus along with wife.  The MP has given this information by tweeting.

The tweet says, “My wife @PunitaKSinha and I have just tested positive for Covid-19. We are fully vaccinated and have been taking all precautions. I would urge all with exposure to us to be alert for symptoms and, if required, test themselves. We have flu-like symptoms and are quarantining.”

MP Jayant Sinha had come to Hazaribagh on 19th December and had held several meetings there. Now the administration is facing the big challenge of getting all the people tested for Covid virus who came in contact with him.

The MP had also organized a press conference after coming to Hazaribagh as well as attended a big program of the party (BJP). Reportedly, hundreds of party workers were present in the event.

Sinha had also held a meeting with the members of the Chamber of Commerce in Ramgarh and after that he went to Delhi via Ranchi.

Jayant Sinha informed about him being Corona positive on 24th December.  In such a situation, if he would have given his samples for investigation even 1 day before, then it is possible that he was positive during his meeting in Hazaribagh.
