Ramgarh, July 13: A woman, along with her unmarried lover living in her neighbourhood, killed her husband at Murumatu Tantijharya under Hazaribagh district.

The Tatijharia police have arrested the accused lover and the woman.

Police said, “After a quarrel, wife Anju Devi (30) called her lover Balveer Turi (26) at her house and together they killed Anju’s husband Bhim Turi (32) with the help of a stone.”

Anju’s affair was going on for a few years with the unmarried youth living in the neighborhood. Bhim had turned into a villain in their love story after he returned from Oman after four years.

Bhim’s return made hiding the affair very difficult for Anju and Balveer. So, she took the dreadful step of killing her husband with her lover.

Anju has a 12-year-old son. She said that her husband used to beat her after drinking alcohol.
