ICC Women’s WC 2022: Google celebrates beginning of tournament with Doodle

New Delhi, March 4: The ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2022 kicked off on Friday, March 4, with host New Zealand taking on West Indies in the first match. At the Bay Oval Stadium in New Zealand, the first match of the Women’s World Cup 2022 is presently being played.

Google decided to make a doodle to commemorate the opening of the CWC 2022. Six female cricketers are depicted in the Google Doodle playing the game in front of an audience.

When someone searches for Women’s Cricket World Cup on Google, one will see cricket balls moving from left to right on the screen.

Notably, the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2022 will witness eight teams competing against each other for the trophy.

The 8 teams of ICC Women’s World Cup 2022 are India Women, Pakistan Women, Australia Women, Bangladesh Women, New Zealand Women, South Africa Women, England Women, and West Indies Women.
