Jamshedpur, Oct 17: Indian Institute of Management ( IIM) Ranchi hosted an inspirational ‘Expert Talk Session’ by noted motivational speaker, business consultant, and best-selling author Shiv Khera.
The event organised yesterday was a resounding success, engaging students and faculty alike in an enlightening discussion on personal and professional growth.
The session commenced with a warm welcome address by the director of the Institute, Prof. Deepak Kumar Srivastava, who expressed his enthusiasm for hosting such an eminent speaker at the B-school.
Shiv Khera’s session was a source of enlightenment for the eager audience, as he shared invaluable insights on personal development and success.
During the expert talk, Khera touched on several key themes, such as “Be unkind to be kind”, encouraging individuals to make tough decisions to benefit themselves and others.
He emphasised the importance of resilience and determination in achieving one’s goals.
He also spoke about the significance of earning wealth through hard work, dedication, and ethics and the importance of setting clear goals and visualising success.
He then discussed the three essential skills, namely people skills, prioritising skills and persuasion skills, required to thrive in a competitive world and the importance of physical, mental, financial and spiritual strength, discussing the multifaceted nature of personal strength and resilience.
The event concluded on a high note with a book signing session by Shiv Khera, where attendees had the opportunity to meet the author in person and obtain signed copies of his best-selling books, “You Can Win” and “You Can Sell.”
