Jamshedpur, Feb 10: The forecast of IMD’s Ranchi Met Centre indicates that the weather condition in Jharkhand will remain dry and clear till mid-February. Weathermen at Ranchi Met Centre said they find no adverse weather conditions over Jharkhand in satellite pictures and wind chart analysis.
“Clear sky and dry weather most likely would prevail till mid – February,” said Abhishek Anand, head of Ranchi Met Centre.
According to him, there will be no large change in minimum temperature in the north and adjoining central parts whereas temperature is likely to fall by 2-3 °C in southern parts during the next 24 hours.
Thereafter, a gradual rise in temperature is expected during the subsequent two to three days, he said.
Today’s satellite pictures an induced cyclonic circulation over central Pakistan and western Rajasthan extending up to 1.5 km above mean sea level.
Weathermen said no significant synoptic condition prevails over Jharkhand. The wind pattern over Jharkhand was fluctuating between north-westerly and northerly directions.
The minimum temperature fluctuated between 10 and 15 degree Celsius in most parts of the state during the past 24 hours. The maximum reading also witnessed a rising trend.
