Jamshedpur: Covid frontline workers felicitated at Tata Main Hospital

Jamshedpur, Nov 25: The pharmacists who had rendered their service as frontline workers in the treatment of Covid patients at Tata Main Hospital were felicitated. 

Organised under the auspicious of Tata Main Hospital and All India Pharmacists Association, the felicitation program was held at the premium health hub’s auditorium, marking the 61st National Pharmacy Week on Thursday. 

On the occasion, Jharkhand additional director (Drugs) Sumant Kumar Tiwari was the chief guest among other dignitaries that include general manager, of Tata Main Medical Services, Dr Sudhir Ray, CIMS Dr Vinita Singh, head of the hospital administration, Dr Chirantan Bose, Dr Ashok Chattoraj andTata Workers Union vice-president Satrughna Kumar. 

“During the period when the pandemic was at its most menacing form in the steel city, the pharmacists also worked in tandem with the doctors, nurses and other paramedics and provided valuable service in saving the lives of the patients.  Hats off to the Tata Main Hospital’s pharmacists for doing such a great job,” the additional director (Drugs) observed while speaking on the occasion. 

While praising the pharmacists of the Tata Main Hospital, Tiwari said the druggists not only contributed their priceless service in the war against Covid when it was at its peak but also extended their equally valuable service in the post-Covid vaccination drive which is still on.
