Ranchi, April 1: A sleuth of the state anti corruption bureau (ACB) arrested a clerk of Rajendra Institute of Medical Science Kundan Kumar red handed accepting Rs 5000 as bribe.
So far it has not been clear why he was accepting bribes as the RIMS authority did not have any information in this regard.
“We have come to know about this only through the media persons,” said RIMS spokesperson Dr Dipendra Kumar.
ACB sources said the clerk is being interrogated and will be produced before the ACB court for further legal action.
This is the second catch of the ACB in the Jharkhand capital within four days. On March 29, an ACB sleuth had arrested a clerk from office of the senior superintendent of police in Jharkhand capital, Deepak Kumar, accepting the same amount as bribe for clearing paper related to pension and travelling allowance of an assistant sub inspector Shailesh Kumar Pandey, whose retirement was due on March 31.
