Jharkhand CM gifts beneficiaries of various schemes on govt’s third anniversary

Ranchi, Dec 29: On completion of three years of the Hemant Soren government on Thursday, Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren gifted benefits of the various government schemes that have been implemented by the government to help the needy.

Under the Mukhyamantri Sukhad Rahat Yojana (MSRY) by the CM, a total of 6,63,910 beneficiary farmers of the state applied in the first phase and an ex-gratia amount of Rs.32,36,85,000 was transferred to their bank accounts.

Similarly, under the Savitribai Phule Kishori Samridhi Yojana, a scheme to encourage adolescent girls for higher education, a total amount of Rs 2,192,991,500 was allocated to 5,52,685 girls under this scheme by the CM.

The main objective of Savitribai Phule Kishori Samridhi Yojana is women empowerment. Emphasis has been laid on girl child education under this scheme. Ending the practice of child marriage is an attempt to reduce the tendency of school dropout by supporting the educational expenses of the girls of higher classes.

Under the post-matric scholarship, the maximum scholarship amount of Rs 50,000 has been increased to a maximum of Rs 1,00,000 for Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes. On the other hand, the process of registration for scholarships by educational institutions has been simplified and the application for the pre-matric and post-matric scholarships has been simplified.

Moreover, the process of payment of about Rs 500 crore to 25 lakh students out of a total of 29 lakhs for a pre-matric scholarship was also started by the Chief Minister today.

Furthermore, the ‘Johar Project Portal’ was also launched by the CM which has been developed by the Jharkhand Government. It is determined to implement and monitor the projects of various districts, directorates and agencies of the state at a rapid pace, whose main objective is to check the status of the projects approved and laid the foundation stone by the Council of Ministers.

The portal has the following features, such as priority setting for projects, classification of infrastructure-based and non-infrastructure-based projects, and monitoring of the financial and physical progress of projects.

Along with this, while making action plans for the projects, preparing milestones, preparing discussion threads, establishing inter-departmental coordination and marking the projects as Red Flag/Watchlist according to the users for better monitoring etc.

In the programme, the ‘Johar Khiladi Portal’ was also launched by the Department of Tourism, Art-Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of Jharkhand for the implementation and operation of various schemes related to sports.

Through this portal, the development of infrastructure for the development of sports and its maintenance will be done. It will also help with maintenance. Through this portal, all the topics related to sports and players can be brought to one place, due to which the sports ecosystem can be made completely paperless.

The main objective of the portal is to provide a digital database of all the players. To promote the development of sports culture at all levels of the state, to increase awareness about sports, to identify sports talents of Jharkhand at the grassroots level and to ensure economic and social development of the youth of the state.

On this occasion, a booklet related to the status report of ‘Aapki Yojana Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ was released. In this booklet, the details of the scheme running in two phases this year, first from 12 October 2022 to 22 October 2022 and from 1 November 2022 to 14 November 2022 have been given.

Under this scheme, the officials of the government reached people’s homes and got to know their problems and solved them. A total of 5,696 camps were organised under this scheme in the state, in which out of the total 55.44 lakh applications received, a total of 50.75 lakh problems have been solved, while work is being done to process 3.7 lakh applications.

For the first time in the last 22 years, a subject-wise consolidated compilation of departmental rules/circulars/resolutions by the Department of Personnel, Administrative Reforms and Official Language, which is in four sections (section-2 in two parts) The Compendium, consisting of five booklets, was also unveiled.

In this compilation, where all aspects related to personnel management (like personnel appointment, promotion, reservation, departmental action, disciplinary action, conduct, retirement etc.) are included, all the updated facts related to departmental rules/circulars/resolutions have been updated in a new style. With this compilation, the availability of departmental rules/circulars/resolutions will be easily accessible and there will be convenience in decision-making at the government level. This compilation will also be updated after regular intervals in future.
