Jharkhand Governor appoints Vice Chancellor and Pro-VC of five universities

Ranchi, June 20: Ajit Kumar Sinha will be the new Vice Chancellor of the Ranchi University, who is presently the Pro-VC of Vinoba Bhave University. The notification regarding his appointment was issued by the Governor Secretariat on Monday.

Governor Ramesh Bais also made appointment of the Vice Chancellor of other universities of Jharkhand. Angila Gupta, who is presently Vice Chancellor of Guru Ghasi Das University, Bilaspur has been appointed as the new Vice Chancellor of Jamshedpur Women’s University, Jamshedpur.

Tapan Kumar Shandilya, who is presently principal, College of Commerce, Arts and Science, Patna has been appointed as the Vice Chancellor of the Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University.

Sukadev Bhoi will now head the Binod Bihari Mahato Koylanchal University as the new Vice Chancellor. He is currently a professor at Sri Lal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University, New Delhi.

Pawan Kumar Poddar, presently professor at Tilka Manjhi University, Bhagalpur has been appointed as the Pro-VC of Binod Bihari Mahato Koylanchal University.

Bimal Prasad Singh has been appointed Pro-VC of Sido Kanhu Murmu University, Dumka. He is presently professor at A N College, Patna.
