Jharkhand loot: ED raids premises of Prem Prakash

Ranchi, May 25: The Enforcement Directorate is learned to have started a search operation at the premises of Prem Prakash Srivsatava in connection with an ongoing money laundering case against IAS Pooja Singhal. Prem Prakash is considered close to the Hemant Soren government. He also wielded influence in the previous government.

According to the information, the search operation started in the afternoon at different locations namely in Ranchi besides Patna and Sasaram in Bihar and Banaras in Uttar Pradesh.

Prem Prakash is said to have two residential houses in Ranchi namely at Harmu and another at Khelgaon.  But his Harmu residence was found close.  According to the information, Prem Prakash mostly operates from Delhi. Notably, the ED on Tuesday carried out raids at the official and residential premises of Vishal Choudhary and Nishit Keshri who are said to be close to many top bureaucrats of Jharkhand.
