Ranchi, Dec 14: The people of the Musahar community, who have been deprived of the coverage of various schemes, are being connected with various schemes of the government through the ‘Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ campaign.
It has been started in Dharmadiha, located in Kalyanpur Panchayat of Garhwa. A door-to-door survey of 77 Musahar families, 100 per cent Sarvajan Pension Yojana, Mukhyamantri Pashudhan Yojana, Ration Card and Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Awas has been approved for 10 families.
Moreover, drinking water arrangements are being made to provide pure water to all families. Animal sheds are being made available for duck, goat and pig rearing by connecting five Musahar families with 24 families under the Mukhyamantri Pashudhan Vikas Yojana.
The Sarkar Aapke Dwar program which was started on the instructions of Chief Minister Hemant Soren is playing an important role in strengthening the link connecting the people of the deprived society with the schemes.
In the survey conducted in Kalyanpur Panchayat, it was revealed that many children are not going to school. After this, on the instructions of the Deputy Commissioner of Garhwa, 13 such children were enrolled in the school. They were also provided with school kits.
In the first phase, the Musahar family living in Kalyanpur is being linked with the schemes. On the other hand, the process of identifying and surveying the Musahar families has been started in the entire district. These families will also be linked with various schemes. For this, communication is being established by BDOs in various blocks by inspecting settlements.
The survey will be completed within two months. On the instructions of the Deputy Commissioner, 927 Musahar population residing under the estimated population in the entire district are being covered by the schemes. Along with this, after the survey, they will be benefited on the basis of their correct population.
